LM1 9" Fabricated Axle

LM1 is proud to introduce our all new 9 inch fabricated axle.   The LM1 9” axle is designed to be a direct bolt in to your factory or most aftermarket suspension systems.  This axle will reuse your factory (or most aftermarket) suspension arms, shocks, ABS sensors, brakes, wheels, and hardware (note that the drive shaft does require modifications).  This saves you from the added expense of upgrading your wheels, brakes, and other components.   

The fabricated 9 offers a tremendous improvement in strength and durability over the stock axels along with a slight increase in ground clearance and a reduction in un-sprung weight.

Durability

The LM1 fabricated 9” is built to withstand the toughest conditions and punishment you can put them in.  We offer a 3 ½ inch outer diameter, 3/8 inch DOM axle tube.  The center pumpkin bolsters a ½ inch face plate with ½ inch lower outer shell.  The face plate is machined after fabrication is complete to ensure perfect alignment with the bearings and inner seals to the third member along with providing a flat sealing and seating surface for the third member.   For additional structural support, the axle tubes are internally gusseted to the pumpkin walls.
